The College Fee Structure (CFS) for 2019 is provided for your information.
It is important that parents read and understand operation of fees and relief schemes. The payment of fees in a timely manner is essential to enable the school to fund commitments and provide a quality education for our students.
Parents can pay their account by Bpay, Centrepay, Direct Debit and Eftpos on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly, per term or annual basis. Many families have found this to be a great advantage to budget this very important expense.
All Schools in the Archdiocese of Sydney will be billing fees on an annual basis in 2019.
- Annually – one payment due by 28 February
- Term – 3 instalments due on First Three Terms (as indicated on initial statement) due 28/02/19, 15/05/2019 and 15/08/2019
- Monthly – 10 instalments on 15th of each month from February – November; or
- Fortnightly – 20 instalments commencing 15/02/2019 and ending 08/11/19
School Fees have three basic components:
Tuition Costs (Sydney Catholic Schools)
These fees are charged by the SCS are standard across the Systemic Catholic Schools in the Sydney Archdiocese. The annual fees per year are reported in the CFS and also a sibling reduction for the second and third child attending Catholic Systemic Schools. If you have four or more children attending Catholic Systemic Schools, the fourth and subsequent children are not charged any system fees.
Over recent years, many schools have undertaken major building projects to provide for refurbished or new facilities. Increasingly, the funds to finance these major capital projects have been raised by the establishment of a Building Levy. The levies are an equitable way of ensuring that the debts that have been incurred can be serviced and that provision is made for meeting future needs. The levy is $517 per family for the 2019 school year.
The levy applies across the Archdiocese. For families with children attending more than one Archdiocesan school, the levy costs will be evenly distributed between the schools attended.
School Based Charges
Year 7 – 10 students are provided with their text books and resources for all their courses. This fee also covers administration costs. Year 11 – 12 resource fees cover the cost to run the subjects at the College.
This amount is for the technology use throughout the College including internet, software and maintenance of these on a daily basis.
This fee covers all Thursday Sporting costs together with the SCC Sports and the Swimming and Sports Carnival entry fees.
The excursion fee for Year 7 – 10 students covers all excursion & incursion costs. This includes the venue entry fees and transport costs.
These are charged separately.
Year 11 & 12
Excursion fees are dependent on subject selections and charged as they occur.
Hospitality Uniform (** $83) the students purchase this in Year 11 together with the
Tool Hire Kit Hire ($54) is mandatory for the Hospitality Course.
First Aid Course is also compulsory for students doing PD/H/PE in Year 11 at a cost of $106.
